Marine dog with cancer gets tear filled farewell



MUSKEGON, Mich. — Hundreds of individuals in Michigan met up to salute and say a tear-filled last farewell to a tumor stricken canine who served three visits in Afghanistan with the U.S. Marines. 

Cena the dark lab got a legend's goodbye Wednesday before being euthanized at a gallery send in Muskegon and took away in a banner hung pine box. 



Cena was a bomb-sniffer for the Marines until his retirement in 2014. He at that point turned into an administration puppy for Lance Cpl. Jeff DeYoung, Cena's first wartime accomplice. 

Cena was as of late determined to have terminal bone growth. 

DeYoung sorted out the festival for the pooch. He says he needed to take his canine on one final ride in a topless Jeep before Cena was put down. The Jeep was enlivened and named "Disease Response Team."
